On a side note Dash, did you know Heather S. from HME? She works up front(receptionist)? She is a friend of mine. I live over on the eastside of MI but thought it was funny that you said that cause thats where she works. Small world.........

she prolly worked at the area where they wire since we didnt have a front desk.... we paint, zolotone the insides, and buff the cabs and than ship them over to the chicago drive location where they place the frames and all the wires on the trucks..... so i never was really over there since i was stuck painting at the market street one.... i prolly saw her a couple times though for sure.... ask her if she worked on the chicago drive one across the street from weller auto.

My wife and I upgraded to Touch Pro's a week and a half ago. One thing that she was bummed about was that she couldn't get the phone in pink. She had a pink Sanyo Katana and didn't like the silver/chrome/black color scheme of the Touch Pro. I found this thread, told her about it, and she promptly ran off to Joann Fabrics to get some dye. They have ALL the colors - she got fuschia.

In the picture below, my stock Touch Pro is on the left, her fuschia one is on the right.

We used 1/3 of the packet of dye in a regular-sized pot of water. We let the dye disolve for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Kept the temperature *low* - the knob on the stove was on low. We used a candy thermometer and measured the temp to be around 120 - 130 degrees F. We stirred the pot once a minute, checking the color of the back. Took it out after 7 minutes, rinsed it in cold water, lightly buffed with a paper towel, and voila.

She is very happy with this.

Good job! This is definitely something for the ladies but the color did turn out pretty good there.
