To change sprint startup animation go to: registry
HKLM\Software\HTC\Startupanimation


but since there is no value under the startup animation, what do i need to change it to?

is it something like //windows....?
Well, you do have a Touch Pro right? Did you flash a custom rom?

If you're using the stock rom it should be as easy as overwriting the file in \Windows\ with total commander or resco explorer.

as long as it's named Startup_640x480.gif it will prompt for an overwrite, and if successful the next reset should have your animation in it, no need for any registry edits.

yea im using juggs custom super clean rom, so it didnt come with a startup which is y i think i need to edit and set the key so it should be "\Windows\Startup_640x480.gif " and that should take care of everything?

Yup, but with a custom rom, he may not have included animation when cooking it. and i'm not sure that even adding the registry values will enable it. When I tried to get animation working on the mogul with someone's rom that it wasn't cooked in, it didn't work.

But here are the registry values you need.....

You can either import them or write them in yourself.
