the vertical bar wit the shortcuts to the left, is this possible to do on our phones. I think I may have seen this on the g1, not really sure, but its a cool idea, heres a link to the site i found it on, it has a gif pic which shows it in action. Let me know if theres already an application for this... I believe its called the "samsung widget"

This is called touch wiz and I used to use this today screen for my touch. I don't think that anyone has gotten it to work properly with the TP.

yea thats the one i tried, it came up pretty small like it was for a qvga screen tho

It came up small because the icons are designed for qvga. We need a guru to resize some of these icons for 640x480
