mail2web not syncing....
 

It is taking a WHILE for mail2web to sync. Any ideas or other options? I also dont think that it is compatible with winmo 6.1...I have tried to set it up manually and via the text message....

It seems to not sync every once and a while...I don't know if it's a device problem or server problem. It works the majority of the time for me though.

Thanks....Tell me somthing. Does your settings look like this:

ActiveSync Settings for Windows Mobile 6
Server name mobile.exchange.mail2web.com
User name xxxxxxx_mail2web.c
Domain* ad2


And yes there is no "om" after the user name in com...

That is how my settings look, I have noticed this with certain ROM's on both the Touch and Touch Pro, Which ROM are you currently running? I am not having any problems on Hibb's 1.7ROM

i had the same problem but i only had it one rom. are you by chance using one of ya 4 juggs roms? i ended up flashing it to hibbys 1.7 and dont have the problem anymore

It's compatible with wm6.1, so the os isn't your problem. Mail2web is synching for me just fine, so the mail2web service isn't the problem either.

I have no .c at all (xxxxxx_mail2web) and all is fine here. But that does happen sometimes.

EDIT: Just tried it and its not syncing either. Must be a server issue, it happens from time to time. It's free, you get what you pay for I guess.

Depending on where you're at, there are also some major sprint data outages. In my corner of LA I have very intermittent 1x data, and my wife's blackberry is totally out.

OK. Ill mess around a little more....I have taken it off the phone for now. What is the deal with the microsoft direct push? Can i set up a hotmail acct and forward mails to there and get them instead of the mail2web or are they the same thing?

I tend to have the same issue (always after hours between 6pm-11:30pm). it starts syncing and it stays stuck on syncing contacts..until a "waiting for network" error shows up in activeSync. I do not have any issues from 9:am-5pm for some reason...so try it around that time...i think it is Mail2web that is causing the issue...btw i'm using Sprint stock ROM on the Touch Pro..
