Touchpro Battey Cover creak
 
Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of heading over to sprint to replace my phone. The phone keeps making this creaking sound coming from the battery cover. When I type or use the touch screen. Is this something I should be expecting because of the cheap cover? Or is it a design flaw with the one I have currently. Let me know your thoughts. I also wanted to note that the phone was build on 10/26 and I bought it at bestbuy.

There is a thread floating around here somewhere that addresses this issue. It has to due with using some tape placed inside the cover and it eliminates the creaking altogether.

Take the battery cover off and put some painters tape on the battery cover where the creaking sound is coming from. You might have to put 2-3 layers of tape but that will fix the sound.

Ended up taking the phone to sprint. Ill find out in a hour if I get a new one. If the creak is still there I might try the tape trick. But sounds kind of dumb for a device that retails over $700 to have to put tape in it.

I also find that the phone touch screen didn't seem to good compared to the mogul. Just doing the alignment was a pain. I had to press really hard on the stylus to align. Anyone else have that problem? I tried the reg key tweaks to increase sensitivity but that didn't work.

Thanks Jeff. Yes I am familiar with the essentials thread. And ran everything I could find there but the touch screen still didn't feel as responsive as it should of been. Even with the tweaks listed in that thread.
