Task Manager Gone...Help
 

I have searched through the numerous posts here and on XDA but have not seen anyone else with this issue or this issue addressed at all. At this point, I'm hoping someone who has the knowledge might point me to a fix.

My icon for task manager does not appear on my phone at all anymore. Not sure when it left or what made it disappear. I can do to settings and clear running programs but I liked the ability to touch one button and easily select what programs I wanted to kill.

Yes, I did go to start --> settings-->system-->task manger->button tab to ensure that I have the check box next to Enable Quick Menu on Today Screen checked. For some reason its not appearing.

I have checked it, unchecked it and rechecked it all followed with a soft reset in between and have received no changes.

Any other helpful thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Do you by chance have QuickMenu installed? It doesn't play well with Task Manager, as they both want to display in the same spot.

no I do not have quick menu installed.

I think I'm going to have to hard reset it. Nobody seems to know what the deal is with this

Second the vote for dotfred...once it's installed you won't miss the other one.

Thanks for the point made about Quick Menu! Once I installed that and re-enabled my Task Manager, all was good in the world...LoL Wish I could run both, as they both are handy in their own way, Quick menu is especially if you are running 6.5 instead of 6.1. Thanks Again!
