2 issues with text messaging

I love my Touch Pro so far...I love the ability to customize and tweak it to death, as well as download all kinds of applications. But the only 2 issues with the phone, that I have not been able to resolve, have to do with text messaging.

1.) With word completion on, if I do no choose the last word in the text from the choices given, it leaves the choices on the screen which blocks the reply text until you either X out and come back in to the message or pick a word then delete it...it is rather annoying

2.) Also, the text size is too large, I changed the setting to the smallest it will go and the conversation looked good...but a day later, the conversation text is back to the large size and the text size setting is still set the the smallest...anyway to fix this?

The area around the center OK button is touch sensitive, move your finger atound it counterclockwise to make the text smaller, clockwise to make it bigger
