sad day

Looks like I may have to return my htc touch pro. When I ordered from Sprint I was told a price over the phone. I call today to check on something and was told I was going to be charged the full price. I called retentions today who has to run it by their supervisor, but if not 1 tp going back. I liked the phone to. Worse case I still have my regular touch. :protest:

Always ask the rep to leave notes on your account when they offer you prices different from Sprint's listed. Call in and have the reps check your account for such notes. If not, seems like you would have to pay retail price.

How much would you have to pay? the 579.99?

That does suck. If they are at least willing to give you some kind of discount on it...then sell your touch and get it anyway. Its SO worth it.

Well I called back to Sprint and actually spoke to retentions. I am getting it for the 299 price and renewed my contract even though I got the touch and renewed my contract in July. Guess they didn't want to loose 3 lines of service. I couldn't let my sero 500 minutes with unlimited internet, unlimited texting, and unlimited pic mail go away. :headbang:

I am surprised they would even want to retain that kind of account. If it were my company, I would say "see ya!"

Then would you still be in business? They want to retain cause we have been with them for a long time. Lets do the math...3 lines at 30 each that is 90.00 a month then times that by 12 that is 1080 a year. So if you were going to get 1080 a year that you knew were to be true and you said see ya....that would be less 1080 you would have. So it's better to keep any account then no account. It's a simple business ethic. Make the customer happy...they will continue for a long time. Me...I am staying with sprint with my granfathered plan.=D>
