You could have no flip backs and then transparent/shadow digits for a minimal look.

Let me see if I can find the clock I'm speaking about.. I think its called clear shadow...
yep, cear shadow2 is the one I was thinking of. The zip files are the numbers only so depending on if you're using a sprint clock (no flip) or the flip style clock I can set you up with blank backgrounds so it looks like the post.
