Touch Pro's Bluetooth Capabilities
 

What all is possible via bluetooth on the touch pro? from what ive read i know you can bt from pc to touch pro. but is it possible to connect via bt phone to phone and send files to other smartphones or regular phones and receive files? if so how exactly would you do this on the touch pro ive tried on a touch and touch pro (in a sprint store) and could not get any files to be sent or received.

are there any other uses/tricks with bluetooth on the touch pro such as using the virtual qwerty on the touch pro as a physical keypad to type on the ps3s web browser? or anything else?

yes you can send files to other smarthphones. using the regular file explorer, you have to do a long press on the file and choose beam file

can the pro send files to regular phones? at least on verizon with their pro i paired it with a lg dare...the dare is able browse the pros bluetooth shared file folder and get files from my pro. but i am not able to send or get filesfrom the dare anybody else having this issue?

I tried to blue tooth beam files from my old 6700 to the TP and it would not work. Both phones were seeing each other too.

i too would like to know how to use the bluetooth right. when the phone is paired with other phones, only 2 profiles are available, dial up and serial port. i cant figure out how to send or recieve files. anyone more educated on this topic?

I can't even get my Touch Pro to pair with the Jabra headset I got as part of the 79.99 accessory package that the Sprint stores are selling so... yeah... It will pair with my BlackBerry though. *rolls eyes*

i got my gf's music store files off her rumor from my tp. that was a few hard resets ago though..... i think i was using ftpbtclient or something called something close to that, i used to use it for my mogul. anyways it is possible but its a p.i.a.
