Re: Ghost Armor Does not Fit right

It sounds like
somone tried to eye the design by looking at a TOUCh but without measurements or something. I had a bodyskinz set that seemed to go on well but I wasn't happywith the way the end pieces felt against my fingers..

I might try on of these other companies if they can get it together.

I just got my phone Ghost Armor'd yesterday, and from what I can tell so far, the pieces match up perfectly. The material, like I said in another thread I believe, is clear, durable, doesn't scratch, and doesn't suffer from a lot of orange peel effect. I honestly don't have any major complaints so far. The guy at the Kiosk did a really good job installing it, and it only took him 20 minutes top. I was kind of upset at Ghost Armor because they gave me the run-around 3 days in a row last week when I visited them at Arizona Mills, but last night they installed it for free! Here's a tip: they don't keep a lot of kits in stock at the kiosks, so if you go there, ask for a kit, not an install, and sound really disappointed that they don't have the kit. When I did this, the guy at the Kiosk told me, you know what, since we don't have the kit, I'll just install it for free, it'll take me 15 minutes, and save you 10 bucks. I urge you to try it ;)

sounds like a ****ty business plan. Great product, but damn how much are you going to work for? Especially with mall rent rates....

That was my business side talking. Sorry. It seems they have great customer service though. LOL. I can't believe i typed that previous msg. It just reminded me of what my entrepreneurial class taught me. That business in the mall is a person buying a job.

Re: Ghost Armor Does not Fit right

So it sounds like you guys are happy with ghost armor... is it possible to add a poll to your thread asking those that have actually tried it to vote whether they think it's great, good, average, below average or terrible? something like that...
Theres a thread that compares all the brands and it appears invisible shield and ghost armor are the clear winners, but since ghost armor is new it's hard to say if it's actually better to buy it or not. I'm torn between the two and I want to make sure i'm picking the right one since it's so expensive.
If you can't add the poll, thanks anyway for the previous info.

Wont let me add a poll.

I can tell you I compared my ghost armor to my friend's Zagg side by side. Mine appeared to have less orange peel. However, I do notice there is orangle peel on the backside. That confuses me. So there IS orange peel. I just noticed it more on my friend's Iphone screen.

You wont be disappointed.

Re: *Fixed* Ghost Armor Does Fit

i'll probably try ghost armor... they both sound pretty good, but i've heard people say zagg has a little more orange peel, so i guess that's the tiebreaker for me.

Re: *Fixed* Ghost Armor Does Fit

*note* I was skeptical of the orange peel comparisons online. All the reviews sounded like product pushers. However, I am definitely not one of those. I confirmed that the ghost armor had less orange peel, although I compared 2 different devices. YMMV.

Re: *Fixed* Ghost Armor Does Fit

ha they're probably almost exactly the same on the same devices.. they just end up copying the best of what each have to offer anyway.. like mentioning it's the same material that covers military chopper blades.
One thing that i'm thinking about is that since ghost armor seems to be new, people haven't had a chance to remove them after prolonged use... while with zagg it's been tried and tested. I'm sure it'll be fine though. ahh decisions, decisions <-- at the same time it's part of what i like about getting a new phone... kinda like getting new furniture for a new place. At least there are two clear winners in ga and zagg.. i'll be happy with either choice.
