"Windows Update" under settings tab?
 

hey guys!
-im a new member
-so what exactly does the windows update feature setting do?
-i tried it and it said it could not connect to the update server, please check if data connection is on and date & time are correct
-WHICH, all are on.....what gives?

As far as I can remember it's been on every phone I've had since the Mogul which came out well over a year ago and I've NEVER seen an update out there. So if you ask me, it's worthless.

Maybe they are planning on using it at some point but for well over a year there has been nothing out there.

Some of us can connect, some can't. Regardless, it's never been used and likely never will be.

With so many of us familiar with WinUpdate on the PC, MS is stupid to leave this broken app in WM6
