Touch Pro is FAST!!!!
Well I'm on D1's 24 mb pagepool rom that is modified from JD's. I noticed a slight increase in speed earlier tody.
But Hot Damn! I turned off Touchflow 3d and it's smoking. I hated how Opera lagged when switching from Portrait to Landscape. GONE. I know JD modified the glyphcache, but it's the tf3d that is just a resource hog. It's ok, but hell, It makes the phone lag too much. I'm sure most of you would think I'm crazy for even turning off manilla, since most are trying to put it on the phone if they have a phone that did not come with it. |

I'm on stock rom. I also turn off touch flo and notice it a bit quicker. What is manilla?

Re: Touch Pro is FAST!!!!
manilla is part of the Touch flo. You'll notice in your windows folder you will have a bunch of files called manilla.

Re: Touch Pro is FAST!!!!
if you guys like the touch flo 3d/2d it still looks the same. I use throttle launcher on my mogul and it looks identical but has more features and is less of a memory hog. It is not dependent on qvga or vga it even runs fine on wvga. I am running the nue3 pre3 but even in low memory mode it still works great and i have 18mb left ... 24 or so with camera disabled. Thats also with s2u2 running and a few today pluggins that run under the pluggins tab. It can run htc home inside of the pluggins tab so i get the best of both worlds htc home and the look of Manilla.
If you guys want speed disable the tf3d/2d and give throttle today a good try. http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/ |

Manila really taxes the Qualcomm processor. When I disable it, I notice that my phone stays at ~room temperature. When it's running, the phone stays really toasty. I haven't tested battery life yet, but I imagine Manila kills the battery - |
