Registry edit for hardware keyboard????

I'm not sure if this has ever been covered, but is there some way that we can do a reg edit to customize some of the keys on the hardware keyboard?

Dude, we can't even get the back-light to stay on for more than 5 seconds. There is no way anyone is remapping keys on the keyboard.

i kinda wish it were possible to remap the txt or email button to be ok/close
