bad speaker quality?

when I am talking to someone (not speaker phone) I hear this static in the background almost bad speaker or call quality? or lets say they put me on hold and I hear the hold music it sounds really bad. I never had this problem with Mogul.

really so there are no fixes? I saw few thread that makes the speaker louder.
