I would like to know about this as well, I have a chipped pro within the esn range, and want to swap it out for a new version if possible

I called the guy at the sprint store whos at the repair department, he said he still havnt received the updated version of the touch pro and told me they have already stopped production on the older version. He said to call back another 2 weeks...I hope what hes been telling me is true. Now I dont know if I should return my Touch Pro at Best Buy and get my money back cause the cutoff for return is January 24 or so and purchase another phone or just wait it out...

If your phone is within that esn range, I would wait cause you should have a way out. If it isn't then I would return and rebuy. You may even get a better deal when you do anyway.

I had a crack and took it to Sprint and they replace with a new one and no problems. Thanks to this thread and the OP

i just called the local sprint store, and they haven't heard of any replacement due to cracking.
the only thing they come up with is "if the phone is dropped from more than 150 cm, the chrome will crack."
therefore, i suspect if i bring it in with cracked chrome, they will look at it, look at me, and say "you dropped it."

I'm currently in a chat with a sprint rep who's basically saying the same thing.

also sprint does not appear to have any knowledge or info about the uneven face buttons.

So I call shenanigans on people saying that "sprint is aware of it and replacing it."
