How to stop the keyboard from popping up in Opera?

Anyone know how to prevent the keyboard from popping up in Opera? Obviously I'd prefer to use the hardware keyboard.

This is my biggest annoyance with the device, so any help would instantly make you my hero! :)

Agreed, I'd love a solution to this. It'd be really nice if it wouldn't pop up when in landscape, but would in portrait.

I just disabled it complete using NullKeyboard. Not sure how to still have it pop up in portrait mode though.
