At first I had a lot of questions but after blowing many bain cells i just want to know if anyone here has or would use this for their phone and also if this stuff is even for a phone?

This isn't for the Touch Pro. It is for the HTC G1 Android model that T-Mobile is selling. Android is an open source OS developed by Google. Go to the T-Mobile website and read about the G1.....

I think he may be asking if anyone's made Android available for the Touch Pro yet. It is, after all, an open source OS that can be modified and used as we please. It will happen eventually.

Anyway, it's been successfully booted on multiple phones, including the Titan and Touch, among others, but not fully functional yet, and only WITHIN the built-in OS. I don't believe they've gotten it to boot by itself as of yet.

I think it's a matter of time, though. As more HTC Android devices hit they'll be able to yank drivers and piece together what's necessary to make it happen, and I'm pretty sure we'll eventually be able to install it just like any custom ROM onto this phone.
