Problem with S2U2

I am having an issue with S2U2 where, for no apparent reason, the slide graphic ceases to animate. I can still do the unlock gesture to unlock the phone.

The problem goes away with a reset.

Anyone else experiencing this?

what version are you using? could be your settings. are you set to directdraw? should be set to raw buffer.

I believe it's version 1.33? I had it set to directdraw before, now it's GDI. Is that the same as raw buffer?

no, rawbuffer is another choice.

Interesting. I only have GDI or directdraw as choices...

then uninstall and reinstall. there should be at least 3 choices. it will not run correctly with anything except for rawbuffer. and my experience with GDI setting ruins it completely and even "settings" doesn't work

Also be sure you have the VGA version. If not that could also be causing problems.

I had the same problem after I ran SPB Backup. I created a backup, and then afterwards, the slide stopped appearing on the lock screen.

Here's what I did: Went in, toggled any setting on and then off, saved the changes. That seemed to reset S2U2 and I haven't had a problem since. I also have not run SPB to create a backup since this happened, so I am not sure.

OP, are you running SPB Backup as well?

In case you were referring to my findings, I have been set to RawBuffer since I installed S2U2 on my TP last weekend. Only incident I have had was after running SPB to backup my device.
