Phone crashed and now no longer turns display off with power button
 

I have no idea what happened... phone was fine before dinner. Watched a yuotube video, pushed the display button to put display to sleep. Ate dinner, then found out my phone was off!

I couldn't turn it back on without taking the battery out...


Soo I did that, got the phone back on. I was listening to some music and normally just hit the power button once to turn off the display, but now when I turn off the the display all music stops and everything...! wtf happened!?](*,)

Music doesn't stop if you are using ear piece + power button.

It does stop if the ear piece is not being used though.

Ohh thank goodness, maybe I am OK then. I was using the 3.5 mm jack the other day and specifically remembered turning the display off.... whew! thanks guys :)

It's some type of anomaly, try using the Diamond tweaks program, and disable fast sleep. I don't know about either of you two but, I use that program it's kicks arse.

Ackk, my phone crashed again! Over night it was charging, had an alarm set for 7am and wone up at 7:15... stupid phone was frozen! Took out the battery and started it again...

The last thing I installed was Google Maps, so I uninstalled that and will be keeping a close eye on it.
