QuickGPS

QuickGPS stopped working yesterday. It's asking for an update but when I click the download button it fails. Help??

I'm having the same trouble getting mine to update, but I've not been able to find any dependable advice yet on resolving it.

i noticed that with quick gps it likes it if you already have a connection established before it attempts to download...try launching pie or opera first then try downloading.

You need to enable the phone location setting. I disabled it and it failed to work. It is in Setting->Phone->Services->Location Setting, set it to on.

Well, good news and bad... despite the claim of failure, it is downloading the xtra.bin file to the Temp folder. It just doesn't move it to the Windows folder like it's supposed to. I moved it myself and then it recognizes the file.

So the question is, why isn't it recognizing the file was downloaded and why isn't it moving it?
