Beaming files
Well I used to have Moguls but last night I tried to beam a file to another user on a TP however I couldn't figure out where the IR window was for beaming.
Anyone know? I've searched the manual but came up blank. Sean. |

Re: Beaming files
I use the pro version file sender transfers quick instead of beaming or bluetooth works great..http://www.file-sender.com/
a quick copy and paste File Sender is a free helpful utility for pocket PC phone users. It enables easy transfer of photos, MP3 audio and video files via SMS service to your friends. To receive the file, you should only have a simple phone with an activated data transfer service. You can choose whether to use its convenient interface or the accustomed one of Windows Mobile File Explorer to attach any type of file to SMS. Then, the tool uses your internet connection to deliver the file to the special server and includes a link to a file in your SMS. Thus, the recipient will receive the message with a direct URL to your file, which he can download in an eye blink. It's also very handy that the mobile receiving your SMS doesn't require the tool itself, as well as any adjustments or software to properly get the message and use the attached link. Key Features
PRO version can send files up to 10 Mb (instead of 500Kb at the free version) |
Re: Beaming files
Bluetooth may be faster as in transfer but beaming a file was simple and quick, you didn't have to make sure both bluetooth devices were running and then pair them.
Oh well |
Re: Beaming files
Yea, all the software to run the IR is there, and its turned on by default.
Might actually be IR inside. Just like there might be a Camera under the sprint logo, like there is on a different version. |
