Read in mail preview /= read in sms preview

Ok.

Here's my question. Someone texts me, I can go the tab in TF3d and "preview" the message and it'll mark it as read.

When I get an email and go to the preview tab for mail, it will NOT mark it as read.

Any way to "fix" this?
