Fastes EVDO Network
 

The sales guy at Sprint said they had the fasted 3g network (of course), but I have been reading that ATT has the fastest network. I know sprint has the wides 3g coverage, but will they be upgrading to compete? I would have looked more into the Iphone if I new ATT was the fastest network. Anyone experience the Verizon and ATT networks?

I think sprint does have the fastest network. I know in Los Angeles, it craps all over AT&T and verizon, lets not even talk about tmo.

I've also experienced firsthand that Sprint is the fastest here in New York.

In Orlando as well.... I had a friend who had a iPhone 3G vs me in a speedtest.net and if we didn't get the same speed, I had him by over 300k

ATT's 3G coverage here sucked. I'd have full service and when I connected to the data network, it would take forever to load a simple page. My 1X connection on Verizon at the same spot was almost as fast, and on the EV-DO network, it was no comparison. I've never had Sprint, so I can't really compare it, but it couldn't be any worse than the experience I had on ATT's network.

I can affirm that Sprint's EVDO is the best, coverage and speed and consistency. Can't be beat. Data is one thing they definitely do right hence they have the highest data ARPU in the industry.

Sprint internet speed and E-care Customer service is the best! There is no doubt about that!

My wife and I ran this test today. My wife has the Tmobile G1, and I have the Touch Pro. Results was Sprint was a second too almost a second and a 1/2 faster then Tmobile
