watch the generic replacement batteries
I ordered 2 and it seems the actual batteries have a sensor in them that is detected by the phone.
if its not a htc battery it will not charge in the phone or show how much charge is left |

Thanks for the heads up. Reading your other post at least it is not useless since you have another charger for them.
Was going to pull the trigger and buy them from ebay. Now I will wait for OEM batteries when they are available. |

I purchased something similar with a standalone charger and had the same problem. They were also just a tiny bit thicker than the stock battery which caused the cover to fit a little poorly (although well enough to work). Oddly enough, they had the words "HTC Innovation" on one side that was marked over by a black marker! :scratch:
It figures, since it was the first time I was brave enough to buy directly from a seller in Hong Kong. |
