turn off word suggestion
 

I use the regular sip Keyboard and I have turnedoff of check marks under input options (word completion, etc) , but it still wastes a line above the keyboard suggesting words, how do i turn this OFF.

i was just about to ask this same question, its annoying as hell and i really need to figure how to get this off while youre using the keyboard

that did nothing, the word suggestion still pops up when i use my keyboard

slide the keyboard open and press FN then space (T9) and select ABC instead of T9 English

I want to use the reg keyoard not the T9 but with no other lines suggesting works or correcting my spelling. Anyone, anyone,

I had it showing up all the time too even when I shut it off in the Touch Input Settings and found this. Glad to help.
