cant sync my TP to my pc, i thought it was easy
yeah i cant get my touch pro to sync with my computer, dont know if i got to excited and just started it right up or what, any help would be great,

i dont thing so, but i just tried hooking it to my laptop, and connected through disk drive and i saw it there, i'm in the process of removing WMDC from my pc and trying it like that, is activesync on the disc?

install mobile device center again from the disc.
plug in usb cable...on the PDA screen select activesync and then done. Other than that, what are you syncing? What do you want to do while connected? IT depends on what you do next. |

Vista does have one clear advantage. With the old activesync, you won't be able to sync your contacts and calendar with your PC outlook if you have exchange configured. With Vista, you can sync with both. This is especially useful if you want to remove exchange because before, as soon as you remove the exchange you loose all contacts and calendar info if you do not backup with Pimbackup. With vista and syncing with the PC outlook in addition to the exchange, you do not lose those data if you drop exchange server, as PPC does not remove them off your handset.
