Bad pixels on a camera are very different than bad pixels on a screen...

It's the actual CMOS chip (CCD) that has the problem.

In professional cameras this can be fixed by black balancing the camera. Unfortunatly this option is not supported by the camera software and it is doubtfull the service center would have a way to fix this as well.
