Can't access internet via EVDO
 

Just got the touch pro. Was wondering if anyone has run into the problem where you can't access the internet when you have the wi-fi turned off. I didn't test the EVDO functionality before setting up my wi-fi connection. Now when I turn off wi-fi I can't access any internet programs or URLs. I found the setting to tell whether to use the Sprint or other network connections and I have them both set to Sprint. My connection manager also shows I'm connected to Sprint via the 777 number and that I have an EVDO signal. Anyone have any other ideas here?

just about everyone has had this problem. do a quick search of the forum and you will find the answer. you will need your MSL (master unlock code) to fix it. the easiest way to get that is to call sprint and ask them for it.

Here's the fix:
Most common fix for no internet!!! Thanks Rainfreak

1. Dial ##3282#
2. Click Edit and enter your MSL. (Call sprint for your MSL)
3. Tap & Highlight Active Profile.
4. Click Menu then Edit.
5. Change value to 1 then Ok, Ok again.
6. Click Yes to update the items then Ok to reset.

and/or

Try Start/Settings/System tab and click Update Profile.

There might just be a delay in your data update for your new phone... First they update your dialing and texting capabilities... data usage is last.
I didn't have use of my internet until about 4-5 hours after they activated my phone number.
