can someone write out how exactly would u go about removing the skin dialer? i have the verizon pro and it has the annoying delay as well and also how do u turn off dial assistant?

Wow that's crazy and never noticed it...

The WM Dialer does ring much quicker than the Diamond Dialer...luckily for me I came from a PPC 6700 to this phone so the WM Dialer is very familiar to me.

the diamond tweak didnt effec anything on the vzw tp. how are u all changing the skin

I too have the same problem I have two phones and timed calling each other and the delay for both was roughtly 10 to 12 seconds. Finally when the phone received the call it lite up for two seonds and then the ringer. I change the ringer to the longer 30 second mp3 from HTC web site and put them in the "my ringtone" folder and found at least the ringer stayed on for the remaining time the call was being received (rather then cutting in and out). I really would like some help too if it can get the call to come in faster than 10-12 seconds. It really is bad cause you only have another 15 seconds before it kicks you into voice mail.

install diamond tweaks and then under the call head look at 1.8 phone pad style. select wm dialer in the dropdown then close diamond tweaks then soft reset.

thanks i didnt kno u had to soft reset. i like this dialpad better anyway. havent checked to see if the delayed ring is gone yet
