For anyone with the Belkin N+ router
 

Here's a work around for the N+ router, I tried the Guest Access suggestion. My Touch Pro was able to see the available access point, but when trying to connect (using authentication with a PSK) it simply stayed at "connecting" and finally timed out, gave up trying. I'm not leaving it open with no authentication. I could try using just B&G, but I didn't buy the N+ router to just run B&G, so that's out of the question.

I'll have to contact Belkin as I already planned to do.

Just wanted to update this thread in case anyone else has a Belkin N+ router. I learned that the Touch Pro I was using when testing WiFi was defective. It could not effectively utilize any WiFi access point of any kind. I got a new Touch Pro as a replacement a couple weeks ago and now with the Belkin N+ router using a Guest Account with authentication and B&G&N all works fine now.
