Why not? Seems like the best solution to me. I am only worried about having more room for games as they tend to take up the majority or apps.

Make sure you read the instructions, you are going to lose an icon, whatever you have in the top right I believe. I guess if you make a dummy .ink in you windows\startmenu\programs and put it there it won't matter but that's kind of sloppy. I'm all about keepin it clean. I haven't tried this thing but it was reviewed a few times so it must work.

What? noo just leave the space empty and it creats a icon. I allready tried it with a empty. Works wonderfully

Cool, maybe I'll have to give it a try to. I've always been hesitant as I didn't know what it would actually do to an icon. I'm glad I can do it with no icon.

Definitely no registry tweak or it would have been found already. I'm pretty sure it's the same situation as the Favorite People listing and that it's hardcoded into the Manila file.
