Blurry contact pics

I've put small to extra large pictures on contacts but in the 3d flip they're blurry. Is there a certain size I should be cropping them to achieve a slightly clearer picture? Or is that the standard?

Thank you,
Jon

instead of adding the pictures when u add your favorites. just hit ok, on the bottom right soft key, hit menu->change picture, and select the picture that way. it wont be blurry.

I just use the contact picture option when taking a photo of them, and it's clear as day.

That means we need to have the original photos on the deivce then right? What about images synced through ActiveSync?

as long as you add your pics thru menu->change picture. you should b fine. your pix can be on the storage card or your device.

i have the same issue, but when i make the pics my favorites thats when the pics come out blurry, all pics are taken with a 10mp camera so i know that they are good pics, and when they are in the actual comntact itself they are fine, it only bllury in the favorites 3d flip.

after you add the picture to your favorites tab on TF3D and hit menu / change picture, it's still blurry?

You an also use album to assign the picture to your contact, and it will be clear.

Re: Blurry contact pics

I did that and it fixed some problems.

But after have to restore my phone about times using SPB Backp (correcting another issue) I started noticing that some of my pictures lost the Quality they use to have. Most of them ere taken with a 8 mega pixel camera. So I know they are good pictures. Some of them are no longer the size I originally put them on the phone as. For instance I had one that was 1280xsomthing and now its 266x288 (using Resco Pro Phot viewer).

Any ideas?

It's because it lost the link between your contact info and picture. trust me, It happened to me all the time syncing to outlook untill I took the same pic on the phone and placed it into my contact info in outlook on the PC. All you have to do is, goto your pics and find the pic you want, tap the pic, bottom right icon is the menu so tap it, then select add to contact. Do that for all your contacts in your fav list and your pics will be high rez again!

Unless your talking about pictures in general in your albums, then I have no clue! Use the default pic viewer and see what happenes!

Yeah, it makes sence! Try deleting then reloading them from your PC back to your phone. See what difference that makes.
