Storage Card showing as Mounted Volume???
 

Hello all,

On my last Soft Reset my Storage Card now shows as "Mounted Volume". I can browse it but the OS doesn't recognize it as "Storage Card" so the programs that I installed to it and the save locations that are setup on it do not work now. Any ideas as to how to get it's name back to "Storage Card".

Do you have a card reader you can try and read it on your computer? If so, pull what you have off and format it to FAT32. If you can't read it on your computer, you're most likely not going to be able to read it on the PPC. If that's the case, you'll have to format to FAT32 and then insert into your PPC.

Thanks for the reply. I had already tried reading it on my laptop and it worked fine. I did save everything off of it and formatted it and then tried it again in my Pro. It still showed "Mounted Volume". CJ and Astain, via chat, told me that the only way to fix it was to hard rest my Pro. They were correct! The hard reset fixed the problem.
