For anyone who cannot connect to the internet try this instead of calling sprint!!
If your HTC TOUCH PRO is acting up with the internet try this
Go to setting, Connections, Connections, Sprint, Manage Connections Click and hold Sprint #777 until menu pops up then delete. Exit....Update Profile, Try Browser. You might have to try this multiple times ...it worked for me after 2 trys! Good Luck |

Changing the active user profile (under MIP settings) from 0 to 1 worked for me.

wold u believe i spent 30 min talking on the phone to the tech support guy. he told me to do change it from 0 to 1 but not to update the profile. since he couldn't figure it out he wanted me to reset the device. when i told him i just spent all night loading my programs on it and didnt want to do that he told me to go to the store to have them do it. thanks guys

I called tech support for mine and ended up just changing my profile to 1 and fixing it myself. I was guiding the tech more than she was guiding me. After I kept telling her how I was navigating through the 778, 3282, 776, etc screens, she was like "...you've done this before, haven't you?" haha
Then she proceeded to tell me how jealous she is that I have a Touch Pro and that she wants one really bad. |

I Had Same Prob...bunch Of Idiots...i Had To Do ##786# Get My Code From Sprint And Reboot All Fixed...i Spent 45min On The Phone With Them..what A Waste Of Time...even Though You Can Do A Hard Reset To Restore To Factory Settings This Also Restores Even Better To Factory Settings

i had to do the ##786# thing too...the hard resets didn't reset my Vision settings but that one did and my internet finally works.

I called tech support (877-809-6696 direct tech support with wait) told the tech that I lost connection with another tech, and we were in the middle of manually updating my EPST M.IP Customer Profile 1. I said they were going to find out my password, and info to enter into this screen, and my call was dropped. After being put on hold, they came back and verified all my settings, and after setting the username, password, and active profile to 1 ... my internet is now working. What a pain in the ***!

Thats because a hard reset only resets it to setting of "day one use" if you flash a new rom it does just that. The ##786# flashes and restores it to true factory defaults. I had to do this, the tech said that the # reset pretty much sets it to the day sprint got it from htc, rather then the day you got it from sprint I did all this but it still didnt fix my internet |
