HTC Pro as Bluetooth modem
 

Anybody got the htc pro to act as a modem with bluetooth using pan? I can get it to connect but then can't surf on the laptop. I have ics running. I don't really want to use the usb cable. I can get it to work fine on the mogul but not on the pro ](*,)

Any advice or tips would be appreciated

Make sure you stop ActiveSync 1st. then use ICS. Connect on the TP. Connection type should be bluetooth. Then go to your network connections on your laptop, select the Bluetooth PAN, and right click, connect. (or view PAN devices, then connect on the pop-up)

Make sure you added the TP as a bluetooth device on your laptop.

I had it work through pan and was trying to get it working through DUN and have had no success I had it working through my mogul as well. Currently using WifiRouter until a fix comes along.

I don't know if this matters or not but I am using Vista not xp. Mogul works first time but the htc tp doesn't :scratch:
