Re: Touch Pro Video Cable - Build Your Own
Anybody get this working for Verizon yet? EDIT: Yes, It works fine on Verizon!!! Exiled: Stop making fun of my phone lol.
Did a quick registry search and found only a few keys that reference "tvout" HKLM\Software\HTC\H2W TVOutCableIn=0 EDIT: Nevermind it worked!!! You have to connect the Video, and both audio in order for the phone to recognize the TVOUT.... Last edited by ramborami; 12-03-2008 at 10:57 PM. |

Crack open, snip tiny blue wire, and enjoy. Didnt have an av to 3.5mm, surprizingly the Dollar store had some though, but they werent a dollar!!! $2.99. but chea, picture quality is a 8 1/4 outta 10, mos def worth 3 bucks. had to turn the 3.5mm jack a few times before the video out screen came up, so jus make sure its tight. Ill probably invest inna better a/v to jack cable later to see if that makes the quality a lil better. Good lookin out brah.

Re: Touch Pro Video Cable - Build Your Own
i got some ipod video cables for like 15 bucks at a discount store (bestbuy and radioshack wanted 50 dollars for 5 or 6' of stereo 1/8th cables), and these were the exact same ones so i was like yeah why not... it works great. just fixed core player with the blue crap.

Cutting pin4 on the included adapter did the trick - and it works *really* well - pictures below. The cover snaps right back on (it's off in the picture..) - the 1/8" --> 1/8" cable comes w/ the myvu. (slingbox on myvu video glasses = purrrrfect ) -mark Last edited by diomark; 12-05-2008 at 08:13 PM. |
