Blue weird DOT on camera/video mode?
 

I just received my phone and checking out all the bugs, i found a few such as the qwerty sliding out while having a voicemail " if Your phone tweaks going from landscape to portrait....." DELETE YOUR VOICEMAIL AND THE PROBLEM WILL BE FIX.

My main concern is when im on camera or videomode there a freaking blue dot there... is it a dead pixel Could someone please verify it for me. Just cover the picture hole with your hand and check if your Black screen has a blue dot on the upper middle. Thanks

Hey, thanks, By any chance do you know what it is? i hard reset it three times and i still get that dot. Do you think it's a dead pixel? But, if it is why isnt showing up on the other programs and only on camera/video. anyone have a explanation would be appreciate. Plus, is my phone defective?

It could be a dead/stuck pixel, do you have something else that's all black that you could bring up and see if it's still there?

if it is a stuck pixel rub it with you stylus. Sometime that can unstick it.

I pretty sure it the camera is causing the blinking blue dot, because when i made a video the dot is still there....... Any suggestion how to fix it. I don't think it's a dead pixel because i should be able to see it on other programs.

Maybe it's a piece of blue dust on the inside of your lense cover? lol....usually, a white dot indicates a dead pixel, colored dots mean a stuck pixel, but you only see this in the camera mode? No other program/software, homescreen, weather app? This leads me to believe that pixel is getting stuck on the blue pallet of the color wheel (RGB). If rubbing your finger or stylus over it over and over doesn't fix it, I would request a new phone.

I have no idea what the problem is.......... this is so freaking frustrating.. o well, i guess i will return the phone back to best buy.. Thanks by the way...

could be something on the outside of the battery cover over the camera lens, something between the cover and the lens, or a camera defect. post an image and maybe we can help more, but I'd check both above and beneath the battery cover and if all else fails, return it.

I checked everything possible, everytime i record something there is a blue dot on the video too. It blink at times too! it freaking sucks....
