Touch pro screen not as bright as the Diamonds
 

Is any one experiencing this ?
I have the Touch Pro and my wife has the Touch Diamond.
I compared both and notice that the Diamonds screen is much brighter than the Pro's...
I maxed out the backlight on both and still notice a brighter screen on the Diamond...

Has anyone compared both devices?

I don't have both to compare right now... but I remember the Diamond screen being sometimes blindingly bright, especially in a dark room. My TP doesn't even seem as bright as my Mogul.

=-( that sucks! I don't see how both devices have the same hardware and still the diamond screens is brighter..

have you messed with the settings with your backlight?

start->settings->power->backlight
disable auto adjust backlight and manuall adjust the backlight.

i dont have a diamond to compare with tho

Yup that would be it. I compared it to a friends Diamond. Turn off the auto adjust backlight....

I have both phones. The Strange thing is at first, at top manual setting, the TP was dimmer, noticeably so! Then, I tested both at minimum brightness. The TP was much brighter. Then, I turned both back up to maximum, and here is the strange part...the TP became much brighter than the Diamond! I don't have a theory on this, but that's what happened...

Ehh I dunno how bright the Diamond is, but my Touch Pro at maximum is bright as the holy light of proverbial heaven. I would never want to even use it that bright, lol.
