Flip to Silence Question

Hey whats going on..I have the Touch Pro and I'm loving it...I was wondering, if you get a phone call and then you face the phone face down is it supposed to silence or put the ringer on vibrate..?

It silences it, even if it's on vibrate it stops vibrating.

I just tried it like twice and it didn't work..What could be the problem?

No I put it on a flat surface with the screen down..

Yes my pro is stock..Just got it yesterday..And yes the teeter game works correctly and I calibrated the device..Tried i for 3rd time and no luck..That sucks..
