Garmin Mobile XT bluetooth issue
I decided to put Garmin Mobile XT on my Touch Pro. I love googlemaps and all, but I miss my Garmin. However, when I go to star it up, it states that I will "first have to connect my Touch Pro to a Garmin GPS receiver. (via bluetooth)" What gives? On Garmins website it shows that XT is the version to use if your phone has built in GPS. (and the Touch Pro DOES, right?) I dont get it. Please help. I love Garmin, but I love the TP more.

Re: Garmin Mobile XT bluetooth issue
I popped my Garmin XT SD card out of my Touch and straight into my Touch Pro and it worked fine... Did you try this:
Start up garmin, and click agree and then click on the little icon at the top left corner of the screen...(the place where the signal strength should be.) Click disable and then go and select Use Serial GPS COM4:COM4 That should work.... if not try using GPS intermediate driver. If that still doesn't work, your SD card could have gotten corrupted. Call tech support at Garmin. |
Re: Garmin Mobile XT bluetooth issue
Sounds like the software is not properly registered / Unlocked.
