Activation Problem

Just got my TP from telesales. Call them to activate it and they cant do it. They are telling me the meid isn't in their system. I think they jsut don't know how to activate using meid. Is there some special process so that I can get it activated?

finally got it working. they activated it on the wrong line at first ( i have 4 lines...) over an hour and a hlaf on th ephone to activate the damn thing. now for a hard reset...
