Touch Pro available at Sprint Store

Sorry, couldn't find any threads dedicated to this so here...

The Sprint store in my area is actually allowing people go BUY the Pro now.

I called 3 stores around me, and they are all allowing you to purchase the phone today. I just thought I'd let you know.

However, they will not honor deals retentions has set up with you. You must contact them directly to get a discounted phone.

I got mine this evenining as well in Seattle, WA at the local Sprint store. They said that while they couldn't advertise it, they were allowing people who walked in to purchase them, they called it their soft launch. They had 9 available, 8 now after mine. I paid $400 with the $150 instant credit for the 2 year contract extension.

The Frisco, TX store at 8300 Gaylord has them in stock and selling now. The Mockingbird Station store in Dallas has them in stock but won't sell them til Sunday.

It looks like BB has the better deal so far, with the discounts even though its priced 200 dollars higher. Got mine last week from BB, Sprint was taking too long...LOL

He mentioned EVP which is an independent affiliate which seems to have direct access to customer account information.

LOL, so I called a Sprint store near my area and asked about the Touch Pro. I don't know if the CSR was lazy or what, but he said they weren't going to release it until the end of November. I'm going to go in there tomorrow afternoon and see whats up. Thanks for the heads up BTW.

My sprint store got 5 yesterday, sold one last night.

Been trying to tell people that the 30th was the soft launch and Nov 2nd was the hard launch. Got an e-mail yesterday that phones were shipped out yesterday and should be arriving yesterday or today.

are you sure it is 3-5 day shipping or is it what they said when you ordered it? I believe they say that just to cover their own *** but mine originally said that one the confirmation and order status but checked my status today with the tracking number and it is out for delivery!

Thanks for posting Saumaun. My name is BJ DeHut and I am a representative for Sprint and we are happy that you are excited about your new HTC Touch Pro. The major release for this phone is still November 2nd, but it is nice to know that there is such a demand for the phone that some stores had to release it early.
