Slide open unlocks - Is this a bug or feature?

I lock my TP by holding down the call end key. Then I slide open the keyboard and the device unlocks. Is this a feature or a bug? On the Mogul you have to press unlock even after sliding out the keyboard. I want my device to remain locked even after sliding the keyboard open. Is there a way to disable this?

The device can slide open in a pocket or purse. Next thing you know you dialed your mother in law for 60 minutes while at lunch. NICE!

Pretty sure that their is a setting unlock after screen rotated. This is in the other section.

S2U2 has an option for this, as well as auto-unlock on stylus removal.

By default, I believe it turns airplane mode on. I had to go to settings to change the "long end key press" setting to lock the phone.

Start --> Settings --> System tab --> Long Press End Key
