Can someone tell me the exact location of the "thread_sms.html" file. Im tryin to search with and Total commander can't find it. Thanks

my device/windows folder.... its a hidden system file .. so make sure in options u dont have them hidden .. open file via notepad and u can make the change on pc as well.... just unhide system files

I dont mean to sound stupid, but in total commander when i click "show" the only option it has in "hide files in ROM", which i believe is the incorrect option. Where can i "unhide" hidden system files?

Are there ways to enlarge the sms typing area?
you can use the freeware "TOTAL COMMANDER" and edit the file thread_sms.html. You can do a search to easily find it...windows directory.

look for this part:
<inbox:content id="COMPOSESUBECT" width="98%" height=35 spell...

and play around with the number in height (in this case 35). change to 70 and get 3 lines for text replies. Just change the numbers and see what works for you.

*you need to soft reset after editing the file.

Is there a way to do this hack with Resco Registry editor?

yes , menu/options/general.. then move over to the browser tab .. uncheck all boxes.... then go to windows folder and start typing threa.... and it will jump to the file

it jumps top the file, then it tries to open it in opera. is it suppose to do that?

No. I copied it over to the SD Card, opened it in Notepad on my PC, saved it, then copied using Total Commander from the SD Card to the Windows Directory.
