Picture Mail Enhancement Download - Touch Pro
 

I researched this on here once I found this link on my touch pros home page, and it appears this was once covered but on the diamond forum. anyway apparently its the same update.

I'm not allow to post this particular link so I'll just explain how to find it the best I can.
Click on the Software Updates link on your phones sprint home page

After this is installed the Sprint startup animation becomes an HTC logo.

I think you might've changed something else that would've caused that 'cuz mine is definitely still the snazzy sprint startup logo...

I believe what you saw was the HTC logo show up when you actually powered down your phone and that was already there before the picture mail update.

You will see the HTC logo if you hold the power button untill it promps you the following "warning, power will be turned off, and you may lose data if you have not saved them. do you want to continue?" press yes and will see a short HTC logo animation. you may confuse that for showing when you power back up if you ... well...power it back up immidently...

For some reason i cant seem to get this to work. I have installed it twice and I never have the option to add a sound for Picture Mail.

I have this installed and my picture mail is working fine, what problem are you having?

Your not having trouble getting it to work, it doesn't allow you to specify a sound for the picturemail manually. I was worried about the same thing when I updated the pic mail on my Diamond, all it does is simply use your SMS tone. So whatever tone you have for you text, will be the sound for your picturemail, whenever you receive any pix or vids.
