from what i understand, anything over 1000kb/s indicates rev.a coverage.
beyond that, ymmv

I'm not quite getting rev A speeds

~850 kbps (~100 KB/s) download
~400 kbps (~50KB/s) upload

but thats plenty fast for me, since i'll only be tethering if my fios is down or i'm traveling and even then it's mostly light usage

I got about 350 kbps down on that dslreport site.

Can you guys state your service plan as well?

I'm on SERO and I'm curious to see if the people who are getting fast speeds are on different plans.

Speed will differ based on the tower's connection, not your rate plan.

I picked up over 1700kps in opera mobile on the dslreports website the other night. This is in a rural area of northern MD. Needless to say I was shocked.

This phone is incredible btw. Just love it compared to the 6700.

Just did it again and got almost 1700k download speed.

I had to choose the 1mb file once again in order for the test to work. Anything less and it fails. With the 6700 I had to use at least the 100 or 400kb file.

Just got a tad over 2000kb/s tethering to my laptop (via WMWifirouter) in Houston. Disconnected from that and re-connected to my Comcast cable internet and got just over 2700kb/s, so I was pretty impressed with the connection speed.

I haven't tried it with the Opera browser yet, though.
