Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
To those of you that have installed Quick Menu, for some reason when I click on my Start menu the old default menu still shows up (even though in Quick Menu I checked the tab for "replace start menu") Is anyone else having this problem? I never had this issue with my Mogul when dealing with Quick Menu.

I think u might be clicking too hard or long.
Happened to me a couple times also. The screen must be more sensitive |

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
It works for me, you have to click the very corner for the menu to come up. If you click too far to the right, then the regular start menu will come up. On a side note, I had problems with the battery/memory info showing up on the right corner....it just comes up as a blank space

Plus, there's a "start" app that always appears in the running programs section of the start menu. They really need an update! |

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
where is the setting for "enable large start menu"??? I cant seem to find this option!

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
sorry but I guess they took that option out on the pro. just try the settings in quick menu and make it your default menu and that should work.

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
that's right they moved it. It's the icon that shows a finger with the index finger pointing up, and it's the second check box if I remember correctly

I assume we're still having the problem with the battery/memory meter not showing up.

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
Anyone having any problems with TP and qm where if you select start button and try to load an app thats already in memory (in the dropdown menu in qm) it takes you to the today screen? Essentially to get tht program to pull up you have to go throught he motions twice?

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
When I restart the phone, I'm getting a "Load qmenubtn.dll failed!" error message. What should I do to fix this? It says to please resetup, but I tried and it the error still comes up. When I click on the .exe, it doesn't look like anything happens. Is it suppose to show the installation in progress?
Thanks! |

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
Thanks.
Yes, those two files are in the same directory as the exe. I just extracted everything from the zip into the same folder. When I try to click the qmenubtn.dll, it says "run the application first, then open this file from within the application." There's a fourth file in the zip, its some type of text file with garbled text. The funny thing is that I do have the little orange Q in the upper left hand corner. When I click on it, the quick menu opens. If I go to the quick menu line item and click execute, it says qmenucfg.dll failed. I dont under what I'm doing wrong with the installation. Thanks for helping. |

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
Ok, I figured it out. Something must have happened when I initially installed it. It kept giving me an error message and reinstalling it didn't work either. I tried deleting the four files, but I also had to delete the qm file in the File explorer, Windows, startup folder. Reinstalled and everything works now... except the battery percentage. Thanks all

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
There is... I installed separate cabs for the 1% increment battery indicator. The only bad thing is now I can actually see how fast this battery drains :(

Re: Quick Menu 2.7 Questions with TP
Install these 3 files.
Install the nuepower driver first, then the sdsdkcerts.cab second, and lastly the FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly.cab. Make sure you install all three files on the device. I think it was the first and the last files will require a restart (it'll prompt you for it). http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...8&d=1220991713 http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...5&d=1221074437 http://www.nuerom.com/nueDownload/download.aspx?id=40 |
