Keyboard backlight not uniform/even?

I'm wondering if the backlight on the slide out keyboard is defective. I notice the top/left area of it is very bright. (2-4 keys) where the rest of the keyboard is dim.

Is it supposed to be like this or is it defective?

THanks.

Yea, I've checked a few of them and they are all the same as you mention.

yeah, 2 is really bright. The rest on the numbers to backspace are brighter than the rest of the keys.

I'm not really too impressed with the keyboard right now.

I think the mogul was better quality, especially when sliding the KB out.

Is there anyway to hit the soft screen keys from the keyboard?
