My Titan/Mogul did not have very good battery life either, but it was definitely better than the TouchPro. I wonder why we found such different results??

Well, today is a freak day and kind of disturbing--after being off the charger for only about 6 hours I'm down to 2 bars, and the only thing I've done is play some music for about 1/2 hour. I've turned off the phone just to be on the safe side.

This hasn't happened in a long time if ever...and I hope never again.

Was your phone hot by just sitting there? You might have had a stuck process-loop.

Seems like the only viable explanation. But it was in my pocket as usual, my pocket didn't feel any different (I think...) and it wasn't doing anything that at least I'm aware I asked it to do.

Only culprit I can imagine is email, but it's set to only download every 4 hours. And never caused this kind of severe drain before.

So I use my TP every morning at work to listen to Lex and Terry. With the phone charged all night and listening for only 2hrs in the morning my battery is already down to 37%.

I also notice that right when the phone is removed from the charger the battery will drop around 5% in about a minute. I know the battery life is not what it should be on the TP but is this normal?

How new is the phone? Sounds like an uncalibrated battery meter to me. Try charging completely, running it down all the way, charging again, etc. about 3 times.

I have similar problems on my TP that isn't even a week old yet...

I'm recalibrating the battery though to see if that helps.

the battery sux and theres 100 threads that talk about it. my pro also drops after its unpluged from the charger, no big deal. get a second battery and charger, its that simple.

Or use a USB charger from a computer or a car charger to help alleviate the situation...
